Pwnage quotes 2

"You want to know my favourite organic compound?
2,4-go-and-dinitrylphenylbenzene."
- The HK
Lolx that sounds so dumb lah. Go and die nitryl blah. And phenyl is what benzene is called when it's a substituent group. It just sounds weird.
---
"Wah Hubert live in penthouse ah? Then I live in pencilhouse lah! Russell you live in liquid-paperhouse right?"
- Alex getting high on the way from T Mart today
---
"I've just seen "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and I think that Angelina Jolie is a very beautiful woman, and so is Brad Pitt."
- Some plastic surgeon featured on Table For 3
-_-" Piano would have the fits if she saw this. Come to think of it, she'd have a bigger fit if she saw me calling her Piano here. Lolz hi Shann :P
---
A convo I happened to overhear on Villa Wellness:
Shan: So do you have any kids.
Vanessa: Er no.
S: You plan on getting any?
V: Yeah. I'm practising.
S: Oh? *raises eyebrows* How often?
V: Oh... everyday with other people's kids.
OMG PWNED! Wahahahaha!

Pwnage quotes

"The world is like a big jar of jelly beans. No one likes the black ones."
- The Daniel
---
"Stupid earthquake, woke me up."
- The Erwin, during the Boxing Day Tsunami
OMG! Wahaha!
Which is quite ironic considering he's Indonesian and the tsunami hit not far from his home there.
---
Wesley: I wonder what it would be like to have Phase Shift armour for standard personnel.
HK: You won't be able to touch you girlfriend.
Russ: ...
Wesley: Oh I know! You be come coloured. That's when racism kicks in.
HK: Don't worry. With Phase Shift armour they can kick all they like.
-_-" LOL that HK is damn full of cock! In a good way, of course.

Trump is an idiot

As usual practice, a gang of us went to TM to eat after church. Cheryl, Little Joe, Ignatius and I. Big Joe pangsehed us, but we managed to pick David and Edwin up along the way. TM's basement was totally revamped recently, and it looks really nice. The whole centre of the basement is one BIG eatery with loads of stuff! So we deceded to have our lunch pasar malam style, as in buy stuff here and there and eat as we walk.

So we had Tako Patchi while we shook our heads as we stared at the signboard for the new diner called Katrina -_-" We were joking about how bandits from New Orleans will fly down here just to thrash up the place. Well it's not their fault; their chain of diners was called Katrina ever since 1993. Then we went walking around and bought chao tar chee bye chicken at Shihlin. Wahahha!!

Cheryl left us halfway to go meet her friend and go to the zoo. ?! She's fortunate enough to get a study break (albeit due to her A Levels) and she's going to the ZOO?!

I suddenly feel like going to the zoo. Haven't been there for 3 years.

The rest of us then went to Mac to sit, eat and crap amd bitch about anything, from hurricanes to Donald Trump.

I don't like Donald Trump. I seriously don't like him. Why?

1: He has terrible fashion sense. You'd think that, after amassing all the money in the world and taking in a passive income, he'd at least take the time off to pay at least ONE visit to Beijing 101. Or at least hire an image consultant. Have you seen his pink ties?! I don't have anything against pink, but it really doesn't go with ties, and pink ties really don't go with him.

2: He owes the bank a LOT of money. He borrowed a lot of money from them to get his business into full swing, and now it IS in full swing, but he only pays off his interests. I'd bet that if he pays off all his debts, he won't be left with half as much.

3: He talks big. In The Apprentice, he always says shit like "I spent a lot of money into creating the best whatever in New York..." *makes that funny kkhhhhh sound when you exhale and tense up your tongue to show "whatever"ness* Please. It's probably more like he tells his subordinates what business he wants to stick his nose into and then THEY spend HIS money (which rightfully belongs to the bank)

4: The biggest reason. He's prone to makes impulsive decisions. This can especially be seen in the board room in The Apprentice. Three candidates, A, B and C, have their asses on the line and one of them is gonna be eliminated. A is exposed for shewing tobacco on the job and B was exposed for making a bad decision and being a bad project manager. C helped to expose the other 2 and proved that their team's failure was not her fault. Trump was deciding to fire either A or B when C accidentally said something dumb, to which he replies something to the effect of "You know what, C? I don't like what you just said. You're fired." Where did that cpme from? That's not the first time, either. He's done it so many times, firing someone not because of how they screwed up in the task, like he's supposed to, but because of something they did in the board room, and he's lost a lot of good contestants like that.

That guy's an idiot. The Apprentice would be a really nice reality show if it weren't for him.

Cycling > Studying

Due to Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children euphoria (although I still haven't seen it), the FFVII main theme is back on my blog. Except that this is the piano version! After this I'll most probably put the original theme back, but we'll see.

You might wanna crank up the volume a bit.

Can't wait for the DVD release here. Yeah I'm not gonna download it. Piracy kills creativity.

Was supposed to wake up at 7 today and ger breakfast with Kit and Alex, but as usual I woke up late. Man, what's a guy gotta do to get ONE chance to sleep in? Well in the end I did meet Kit at his house, and we had one of those chats we always have when we meet up after a while. Met Alex, and then went to our favourite bak chor mee stall at Katong (on bike, duh).

Got home at 9 plus. I wish I could sleep the rest of the morning away, but had to go Ah Boy's house to do PW. Sian. Ah Boy bought a new mike for his com to replace the old one he blw out by shouting in it (that's how loud he is), and he was abusing the new mike to record other people's voices while we were doing our project.

Got home (again) at 6 plus. Wish I could sleep (again). And I did. Slept for an hour and then did absolutely nothing worthwhile (except a quick flick in my notes) and then left at 9 to meet KX, Alex and Rayner near 168. Went to ECP and cycled about the place, and then went to Changi Village via coastal route.

Got home (again) at 1.

Sorry for my lack of content today. I feel too tired to elaborate right now.

No effective studying done! Sian... So many people have faith in me. Hope I can live up.

Random Thoughts 2 (Promo Fever)

Hmmm... I feel like blogging, but I don't really have anything to blog about. Or rather, I DID have something to blog about, but these few days have been real busy, with the promos in a few days time. It's scary. I've taken to cooping myself up in the library after school just to study, and although I've gotten further than I ever had, I'm still a bit behind.

---

Today was the epitome of... epitome...ity...ness.... nvm. A few weeks ago, I had to sit through 3 periods (that's 2 hours) of Chemistry practical-turned-tutorials, and then a bit more remedials after that. Today? 1 1/4 hours of Chem SPA (A Level stuff), and then Chem tutorial, then lunch, then Chem mock test, then going through the test. So that's 11.30 a.m to 4 plus p.m of nothing but Chemistry (save for a 1/2 hour lunch). My brains were reduced to mush by the end of the ordeal, and normal Chem stuff which we would otherwise understand, like free radical substitution, suddenly seemed so complicated. Rrrgh I can't stand it, and I dunno how Cerine Lim stands it, taking our class through 5 hours of Chem and still remain so patient.

---

Alex called me up one day and told me he found an offer on Togoparts.com. Someone was selling Panaracer Tserv slicks. 1.25... and in YELLOW! Matches my bike lolx. $50 for both of them, a real steal. But in the end I decided not to take up on it. Gonna stick to my 1000 km mark.

---

Was chatting with Cheryl (Seow, not Tan) online the other day.

R: ive been feeling tired for practically the whole day
C: why sia
R: dunno... slp late from studying... came home late from studying
C: ur body needs a break hor.. dun mug too hard..

-_-" on the contrary I think I'm underworked. Promos veeeery close and I haven't grasped everything properly yet. The mock test helped me see that, and that was only for organic chem. Gasp!

---

Alex has become something like a promos countdown timer. Occasionally, when we sit around, he will suddenly say: "Hmmm 9 more days to promos." That line always puts me off the mood for anything.

---

Kim and I had a quarrel like 2 or 3 days back, and now she's giving me the silent treatment, although she's not good at it. She keeps talking to me accidentally! -_-" But she's become substantially more rude to me, and I think she's talking bad about me behind my back. There is no way that any brother and sister have got it bad like Kim and me, not even Cheryl and Small Joe.

---

Hmmm 9 more days to promos.

Who are you?

Take a look at this.

I know it looks wrong, but it's just stick through it to the end. That's where the joke is. Don't bother with the other links. Couple this with the infamous cybersex incident and you'll know why I remain very skeptical of strangers I meet over the Internet, up to the point that I have never been to an IRC or ICQ chatroom in my life. That's why I like MSN; you know everyone in your list (at least most of the time... see the incident) My friends have pranked me before, pretending to be someone else online or on the phone, so I keep my guard up.

I hope the person whose been tagging me lately knows I'm talking about her) or at least I hope she's a her). So I'm not comfortable with numbers. Friendster is okie. --->

But if this turns out to be a prank (I have a strong feeling it's KX or some other guy), then... we'll see.

Random Thoughts

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has finally been released! But, knowing Singapore, there's probably not much demand for it here cuz of lack of media coverage so it prabably won't be released here. Now I have to resort to other means. Kazzaa, iMesh, New Wave, Ares, BitTorrent, but all seem so lag. BitTorrent will take another 5 days to finish the download. This sucks,

---

I've had some serious thoughts about upgrading my bike. I wanted to get a whole new gear system, but I guess Alivio isn't bad either. Aah I know! I need slicks, but I feel I should train up with mountaintyres first. My odometer clocked past 500 km recently. Maybe I should double that before getting slicks. Gotta do that by this year if I plan to enter a few competitions next year.

Wheeeeeee!

I'm starting to obssess over songs again, listening to them over and over again. One of them is my current blog music, Reason by Nami Tamaki from the Gundam Seed Destiny OST. Other songs are Clones by Ash, which is THE only rock song that's associated to Star Wars (it's from Star Wars: Republic Commando. That game rocks) and Bizzare Love Triangle by Stabbing Westwards. I can just sing it all day!

---

I haven't been getting any studying done other than within school cirriculum, partially cuz I dunno where to start and how to go about doing it. Read notes? Do tutorials? Do TYS? I'm very scared of getting retained, but it's becoming steadily more inevitable, and it's scary.

---

Advent Children has been downloading for nearly 2 hours and it's only 1.5% done. AARGH!! Wesley is gonna start flooding me with spoilers tml, I can feel it! Rrrgh....

Cycle until shiok

My blog entries are becoming rather systematic. It's so suffocatingly boring....

Wednesday: We (a few of the 05S15 guys) were at the school back gate deciding what to eat after school before Chem remedial, when Samad the PE teacher caught up to us looking for Charles. Fishy has something with the PE teachers... he's so fat and yet he isn't in TAF (wasn't, rather... more in a sec) and he skipped so many SPE lessons that accumulatively he owes Edward Chew about 75 rounds on the track. Anyway Samad was being his usual funny self, and he refused to believe that Charles isn't in TAF, so he took his height and weight, and it turns out he IS overweight. He's not on TAF yet, but he's on the "mailing list"; Commando Lee gave him to the end of the year to lose weight, or next year he would be joining the porkers' club.

We had lunch at Uncle Louis. Charles had mixed rice... less rice, 1 meat and 1 vege! Wahahaha! But his crash diet was short-lived. After that he had Mamee and ice cream. -_-"

Thursday: During TAF we were playing soccer with S18, Ah Bush's class. Wheeeeee!

Friday: 3 periods of Chem tutorial + 2 1/2 hours of Chem makeup. Cerine Lim is being extra kan cheong these few days, giving us so many lessons. After school went back to rest, and then went to ECP to meet Alex. Cycled a bit, and then cycled to Simpang at Bedok to meet Ah Boy, KX (who was late) and Ah Bush, who STILL doesn't have a bike, and STILL wears jeans and a polo tee to meet us like he's going dating. Ate at Simpang's roti prata shop while cracking bangla jokes, then went home.

Saturday: Woke up late, so was late for PW meeting. Actually, everyone was late for PW except Eng Yong (who arranged the meeting). I can't survive without Mocrosoft Office. I use Works, and it can't interface well with .doc files, so the survey for our project I had to print out came out half completed. We ended up having to go to Ah Boy's house to do the project, so it was rather convenient that he overslept too. Cute boy came ultra late and left ultra early. Did PW from 11 to 5. Ah Boy gave me his yellow Polycon cycling jersey, so pai sey! I still look fat even if I put it on, and I think I need to train a lot before I become worthy of such a jersey.

The minute I logged on to MSN when I got home, Alex immediately called me out to cycling that night. Later met Alex, Ah Bush (STILL in jeans, a polo and his big bag) and Rayner, KX's friend, at 168, amd later met KX near his house. Cycled to Thaipan at Mandarin Gardens to eat. Not bad the prices but the green curry was a little... little. For $6. Then left for ECP, where we happened to meet some of Rayner's cycling friends. GY riding Giant and Cannondale with slicks, but still couldn't beat Alex in a sprint :P Later bought sugar cane and went to the jetty to chill. Alex and I chionged there. I'm starting to pace Alex, but I still can't catch up, and I tend to lag a bit after a while. After jetty we went to Rayner's condo to chill near the pool and lim jui until Alex was high. Lolz just kidding. It would've been nice to 'ton there, but we didn't. Went home at 1 plus, nearly 2.

Today: Where did the weekend go?!

Brudders

I was looking at Jas' blog and I saw that collage of the NJC girls soccer team. That reminded me of something similar that Ah Boy did and posted on his Friendster account. I smiled when I saw this, cuz it's nice.

Spending Spree

Well now I forgot where I was. No wait I remember where I stopped, but I can't remmber what happened next. No wait I think I remember what happened, but now I...nothing.

Anyway....

Friday: After PW consultation that day, I went straight from school to Tampines MRT to Jurong East to meet Kit and Gaps to got to the Creative sale. I realised two things in the way there:

1. I was starting to look more and more out of place in my TPJC uniform the further West I got.
2. Now I know what Jas meant last time by the train ride to the West was damn long. She and Qiqi came over for Kim's birthday last year, but she left early because she had to take the train all the way back to Tiong Bahru. Well Juring East IS further than Tiong Bahru, but to me it still seemed to take forever just to reach Tiong Bahru, especially since I didn't have any music with me. Kim borrowed my Altec Lansing earphones, and my Audio Technica headphones are beyond repair anyway.

The train ride was almost 50 minutes, and I didn't get up from Tamp all the way to JE. Deep vein thrombosis just waiting to pounce on you. Anyway finally met them at JE and we took the shuttle bus. On the way there, I realised that although I had been waiting for the Creative sale for a while (I need speakers and an MP3 player), I wasn't prepared for it now because I thought the next one was in November. Now I'm finally on the way there, but I didn't have a preset budget. I didn't even save any money for it. So I had to limit myself to about $100. As my kind of people would say: "Buy what sai?!"

Well I did manage to get a 2.1 system for my com, but that meant no MP3, and I waas eyeing the Fatal1ty sound card, but yeah. We then left for the IMM building, where we ate at Han's, and then Gaps left to meet his family and I went with Kit to the pasar malam back at Bedok. Since my family was out of town, we thought of him staying over at my place, but that night was a bit inconvenient. Come to think of it, I should have made it convenient, cuz now with my parents around, he's never gonna get a chance to stay over. Dammit. So I went home and set up my speakers. Not the best there is, but not bad for $70, and it's a hell of a lot better than my old ones.

Saturday: Next morning Kit called me out (again) and we went cycling for a bit and had breakfast at our favourite bak chor mee stall at Katong. Then went for a little spin at ECP, where I tried his road bike. It was nice to ride, very nice actually, but I'd still stick to mountain bikes. I like the freedom of being able to go offroad once in a while. All this while when we were moving from Katong to ECP, we were trying to call people out and join us. Best bet was Gautam, but first time we called him, he was asleep, and second time he was in the bathroom, so that meant after the second call I had to wait for about an hour for him to get out. When I finally got him at 1050, we were on our way from Bedok Central to the bike shop behind Bedok Stadium, cuz I wanted to get carbon bar ends for my bike (been meaning to get those for quite a while). Anyway:

Gaps: Hey you called?
Russ: Huh? Oh it's nothing. Kit and I were out cycling and we were wondering if you could come out and join us.
G: Huh? Aren't you meeting them?
R: (???) Who?
G: 4/1 lah. They're having lunch with Miss Peh, right?
R: OH SHIT that's today?! I completely forgot... shit shit... okie... er wait what time are they meeting her?
G: In about... er... 5 minutes.
R: ... shit....

Well I gave Alex a ring after that, but it seemed that everyone was running late. So typical of 4/1. Wahhaa... I see nothing's changed, although a lot has. More on that later.

So after getting bar edns and having my derailleurs retuned, I rushed home and took a shower and a cab to Changi Airport, where they were meeting Miss Peh. Apparently I was the latest, but not everyone was there. When I got there, there was Alex, KX, Chuen Yang (the Ah Pui of 4/1), Yun Shan, Valerie, Lina, Li Shi, Baoyun, Da Zun and HK at Popeye's. We had fun there talking to Miss Peh and reminiscing about the old days in her English class.

We were talking about our class, BVSS 4E1 2004, and it suddenly stuck me how we have all split ways and how some of us, bonded as we were during our BV days, have all lost contact with each other already. I haven't spoken to Regina properly since I ran into her when she was working at TM Breeks (met her at BV at Teachers' Day but didn't talk to her) and some people like Hui Min and David I've totally lost track and haven't seen since the release of our O Level results. People like Sam, Jilly, Ani and Suk Lin are all over the world, I can't keep track. Heard that Suk's facing some complications at NZ and she can't come back. I miss the old days and the old ways. The CBD, the countryside, the forests and the swamp, and who could forget Ah Pui the power plant and Joanne the Oil Refinery (was that what she was?) Haiz...

So after lunch we split ways and said our goodbyes to Miss Peh for now. Her condition isn't improving. Alex, KX, Val and I went to Orchard to meet Tyng Tyng, Mei Shan and Nicholas Yong to buy a present for Adeline. But the guys didn't stay long, and later the four of us went to Kit's house to crash and (for lack of a better phrase) pia XBox, NFS Underground 2 in particular. Alex still has Initial D euphoria; he took a Toyota Corolla and painted it white so it looked like an AE 86, and he then proceeded to pwn all of us at the downhill track. He says he's gonna train for next year's WCG. Good luck to him.

Finally got home, and so did my family. And Chuckie! He seems more lethargic lately, although he still is sprightly at times. I guess that's how Shih Tzus turn out in the end. So in the 3 days that they were away, I spent $25 on Gundam SEED Destiny, $78 on new Creative speakers and $29 on bar ends. She got a shock! Lucky I didn't tell her I also stayed out late and got written up by the fuzz. I don't wish to imagine her reaction to THAT.

Wild night

Well I did it again. I delayed blogging, so now I have to catch up on a few day's worth of entries. Well I'll warn you now, this could be another long entry, so yeah...

Thursday: My family left for Malaysia, so that meant that from then till Saturday, I had the whole house to myself. It's fun being alone by yourself, but I only stayed because I foresaw that I would be getting on with a lot of work these few days; work that especially required a functioning computer with an Internet connection. It wasn't the first time I was home alone because my family were abroad, and I remembered how peacefully quiet the house was then when my sister wasn't around. So yeah.

I was watching Star Wars: Episode II (again) and something impulsed me to get up and go to Tampines Mall to see if Episode III was out yet. I figured that if Initial D was out already, Episode III was bound to be out soon. So I got changed, but before I could leave, I got a call:

Caller: Hello, Russell?
Russell: Er, yeah... who's this?
Caller: This is Miss Yap here.

Well, at that point, I thought she was my auntie, cuz I have an auntie with the surename Yap too.

Russell: Uh huh... what's up?
Miss Yap: Russell, where's your EoM?
That's when I realised I was talking to Miss Yap, my PW tutor.
R: (wtf...shit...) Er... I'm working on it...
Y: Well you had better be, other people have been working on their's already, but you haven't sent me a single draft.
R: Yeah I know, I'm working on it, don't worry...
Y: Oh, I'M not worried. Everyone has showed me their work already except you.

Okie, that's when I REALLY started to panic, because "everyone" probably included Alex too, and you could always count on good ol' Alex to NOT do any of his work.

So I reassured her constantly that I would send in a draft to her online by tonight. She told me that she would be in school the next day from 1 to 3 in the MRL, so I could meet her and seek council about my work. She then told me to tell the rest of my PW group that she would be in school, and she proceeded to tell me the names of ALL the people in my group as if I didn't know them, and repeated everything she said about where she was the next day and how to find her. Was relieved to put down the phone.

Went to TM area for a few things. Return a few overdue books (that C++ book Gaps borrowed is STILL overdue, ever since July), go to the arcade to try the Inertia Drift (but decided against it), window shop at RSH for a cycling top ($39 for a white sleeveless?!) and find Episode III. It wasn't out yet, but something compelled me to go to Laserflair, and that's when I found, (and bought) Gundam Seed Destiny first box. I was waiting for it for longer than Episode III, so yeah the trip wasn't fruitless.

I'm not even halfway through with this entry. Sorry, just hang in there.

Thursday-Friday: Probably the most fun I've had in a while. Kit asked me out to hang with him and Gaps, but he wanted to meet at 9. That wouldn't be good, because I had to me home by 9 and my Dad would call to check. Did up my EoM, and then my Dad calls at 10 plus. I told him I was sleeping soon. At 11, I left the house on my bike to meet Alex, KX, Ah Bush, Shaun Lim and Dennis at 85. Hehe...

We ate there and slacked, until we couldn't stand the smoke and decided to move. So we cycled (Ah Bush ran) to the HDB playground opposite from 85. So we just slacked there talking about anything, from crazy people from TPJC to crazy people from SRJC to crazy people in BV, and Alex started farting uncontrollably. Well that was all good, but he did it in my face. The we were messing about in the playground, with KX cracking horny jokes, and made such a ruckuss at 1 in the morning, until this maat came down with this minah and a chinese guy and started to tell us off for waking his wife and son. Son?! That guy looks no more than 3 years older than us. So they said their bit and left, and we decided to go too. The fact that they were carrying sawn-off bamboo poles weren't the reason for our change of mind.

Went over to the fountain behind 85 to slack some more. Dennis, Shaun and I started talking about Warcraft III and DotA, up to the point that Alex got annoyed. We were chased out again, this time by the revolting smell from the monsoon drain nearby. Shaun went home (most probably to play DotA) and the rest uof us cycled to the 2-storey carpark behing the marketplace near BV. The second floor was open deck, and it was like a straight 50 m stretch of pure carpark. Excellent for drag racing. The idea of underground racing at 3 in the morning was exciting, especially after Initial D, and even moreso for a few of us that play NFS Underground 2. Well let's just say that I need more training. KX and Dennis managed to map out a short sprint course of the place, which involved a sprint down the 50 m stretch, a 180 degree hairpin and down the side of the carpark, another hairpin that takes you into the first deck, and out the other exit and up again and a finish at the starting point, which left you about 15 m to brake from 30+ km/h to 0, or you'll end up kissing the asphalt 1 floor down. Sounds fun eh? We did time trials, as it would be too dangerous for 5 of us to race at the same time. As Alex adequately put in his blog, here are our approximate timings:

Alex: 00:01:12 (that's 1 min 12 seconds, mind you)
KX: 00:01:14
Russ: 00:01:20
Dennis: 00:01:25
Ah Bush: Busted

Yeah you heard right. Right when Ah Bush turned into the first deck, a white car started to approach. We were a bit nervous because of the proximity of the car to Ah Bush, but that became the least of our problems when the car turned into the deck, so that we were able to see the omnious word "POLICE" on the side. Then we heard doors slamming and people shouting, and the rest of us were scared out of our wits. Alex wanted to make a break for it... but he didn't. A cop comes to the top deck and rounds us up. So we were there on the bottom deck rounded up like a pack of druggies, except that we weren't cuffed and made to squat. They were questioning Bush, with questions like "If you really are cycling, then why are you in jeans?" -_-" SO they took our names down and told us to beat it. Nothing big, once you get over the initial shock. We got lucky, especially since they rounded up our most innocent member first, and the only one who wasn't speeding, and they didn't bother to search us, cuz we lied when we said we didn't bring ID (we always say that), and that they didn't question us further, especially after Alex told then we were around for only 1/2 an hour, cuz if they got a disturbance call earlier than that we would have been screwed.

Well we didn't go home. Went to the marketplace to chill at the coffeeshop. We went to Cheers to get a drink, where we met the most obnoxious senior citizen cashier. An offer sign in the shop said:

Justea Iced Tea
- w/ peach
- w/ lemon
2 for $1.45

So Alex and I got 2 lemons and went to pay:

Cashier: Okie $2.45 please.
Alex: Huh? Thought it was $1.45?
C: No... I keyed it in and it says $2.45.
Russ: No, it says here 2 for $1.45.
C: Er... I think that's for Justea
A: Yah what! Justea!
C: *looks at sign* No must be one peach and one lemon... no more peach liao
A: ....
R: Ah screw it lah! I'm getting another drink.
C: Er... I keyed it in already, the 2 lemons. Can you buy them?
At this point, Alex and I were both like wtf... so we just bought the drinks and left. Alex almost wanted to slam the money in front of the guy. Give senior citizens a chance to learn and adapt to their jobs? Hah.... I'll try....

We slacked at the coffee shop till 6 plus, and then Dennis went home. So the 4 of us (Ah Bush on Dennis' bike) cycled to ECP to watch the sunrise. Ah Bush's cycling wasn't very good, but then again his parents don't even let him cycle, so yeah. We got to Bedok jetty in time, but we couldn't see shit because it was so damn cloudy. Not long after we decided to go home. Reached home at 8 plus nearly 9, and I had a PW meeting at 11. So what to do? Relax a bit and go, or sleep for an hour and go? I didn't want to sleep for fear of oversleeping, so I tried to occupy myself by watching Destiny, but 2 episodes later I couldn't take it, so I went to sleep.

Woke up at 1230.

Well since I missed PW meeting, I decided to go to school just to see Miss Yap, and maybe to explain myself to Eng Yong on why I missed the meeting. Well apparently Ah Boy and Cute Boy weren't there either. That Miss Yap didn't even see my EoM. Well just as well, cuz it turns out the file I sent her got corrupted. So essentially I went there to wait around for nearly an hour, and then gave ger the hard copy, and that was it. I would have to wait for Monday to see her comments. What the hell...

This entry is frighteningly long, so I guess I'll continue on another entry. Hehe sorry...

Lizards can't skate

I have an alarm clock in my room, and I use it, but for all the effect it has on me, I might as well have bought a.... thingy that... makes a lot of noise till I bang it on the head... cuz that's what my alarm clock does. Well it's not its fault, it's just that I keep hitting the snooze button until I ultimately ignore the alarm and sleep on.

So in short I overslept and was late for Maths mass tutorial.

Later went to Uncle Louis to eat with Ah Lam, Ah Boy, Fishy, Meng Nan, Ali and Lizhen (Lizard). I swear we never get sick of the place. Then the group of us went home and later met at ECP to cycle and blade. Well, Ali had violin class and Fishy gave some lame excuse so the didn't come. Went to the bike shop for a while. There was sth funny with the rear hub but today no problem. Also went there to scout prices for carbon bar ends and road tyres. Not bad... cheaper than I expected.

Cycled to the coffee shop near Ah Lam's house to meet him, then went to ECP together. They weren't there yet, so we went cycling about. Found a new bridge at the extreme west end of ECP, and there were hardly any people there at the other side. Found a 0.8 km stretch of STRAIGHT road. Wah shiok there can have nighttime underground drag racing. Wahaha still have Initial D euphoria. Met the gang later, and met Ah Boy's friend. Wah Lizard chao n00b at skating lah. She had her own skates, but can walk faster than she skates. So we moved damn slowly.

We were messing with her and decided to chiong ahead of her and leave her behind. The a big group of NS trainees runs past her, and then half of them started shouting and giving her wolf whistles! Wahaha talk about sexually deprived. But she was damn slow still, so it was all up to Ah Boy the national skating champ (I'm serious, he is) to pull her along. So cycle, rest at jetty, cycle, drink at hawker centre, cycle, rest at another jetty, cycle, drink at hawker centre again.

Today suay for Ah Lam. He and I were cycling together behind the rest, when this blader suddenly decides to turn. Alex clips him a little, but mainly avoids him to the left, jams the brakes and flies off his bike. I jam my brakes too, but in the end I collide head on into him. I was destabalised but he was floored immediately (Scott vs. blades... who d'you think will win?) Nth happened to me and my bike, but Alex kenna cut, his left bar end is fucked and Ah Boy's camera, which was in his hand, was saved from total obliteration but slightly damaged nonetheless. Wah sian lah!

Well what else happened? Oh Ah Lam taught me the rear wheel jump and Ah Boy taught us how to drift. Dadi jioned us later (wah he ride stunt bike) and Lizard had to go. Cycled a bit more, and then went to eat at Marine Cove that hawker centre. Then we split ways; the bladers took bus home, and Dadi, Ah Lam and me took the coastal way to ITE Simei. Got one part pf the road kan ulu lah... no lights! Well it was fun lah, especially more so when we switched off our own lights. Cycled to ITE Simei, the took seperate routes home.

Whew... cycling from 1 to 9. Damn tiring, and now my back hurts lah! And my hands get numb and the bloodflow gets all funny after excessive riding. I need bar ends. I need a lot of things. Bar ends, road tyres, mp3 player, new speakers, better sports apparel, completed 1 and 2 star kayaking courses.... oh yah, and a pass for my promos. I haven't been studying these few days lah. I'm screwed.

Scheming sia...

My family is full of scheming buggers (I meant that in an affectionate sense).

I just found out how my dad got my mom to start playing golf. He bought her a set of clubs and a beginner's course without her knowing. The he just went up tp her andtold her he had everything paid for, so she was obliged to take up the course. Wahaha!

Another thing. Re-enactment of something that happened between my sis and my grandma a few days ago. Actually, everything happened in Chinese, but to facilitate the flow of the joke, I'll translate it. Don't worry, my translation skills aren't as bad as some people I know. So:

Kim and my grandma are at a marketplace or shopping centre or sth with my little cuz.
Grandma: *sees ice-cream stand* You all want ice-cream?
Kim: Okie *reaches for her wallet*
G: No need *takes her own purse* I give you money and you go buy.
K: No need lah Ah Ma
G: Don't geh kiang! (sorry... sounds nicer this way :P) *takes handful of $1 coins from her purse* Nah take.
K: No need!
Then there's a bit of a fuss kicked up, and the coins spill onto the floor. They both bend down to pick them up. My grandma picks up a few coins, and then notices Kim picked some up herself, so she has a brainwave and throws all the coins she picked up on the floor again! By the time Kim finishes picking up the coins, she then realises that she has all the $1 coins, and then my grandma makes her buy ice-cream with the coins.

What a laugh!

Influences

I get too easily influenced by movies.

After watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (pirated DVD courtesy of my uncle... I know piracy kills creativity, but it's not as though I asked him to buy it) I suddenly felt like eating chocolate. Well actually these few days I've been suffering from chocolate defeciency, but now even more so. After watching The Matrix, I suddenly had the urge to switch on my com and start shooting people :P

Now, after watching Initial D (original VCD, thank you) I feel like going to the arcade and race... in manual. Every time I race at the arcades (which is not too often) I always drive in auto, cuz I hate shifting gears. It's a hassle, especially when you're a frequent crasher. But after figuring out the physics of the Inertia Drift, I wanna go try it out. But promos are too close for me to go crash the mall without a nagging feeling at the back of my head, and it's not the same if I try it out on a keyboard, and my NFS Underground 2 is still with KX.

Sian...

For me to know and you to stipulate for all eternity

I wish people would stop asking me who the bachelorettes are. It's annoying, like when they ask me "Is bachelorette 4 *insert random girl*?" and I say "No comment." and they conclude "Hah! Must be her!" Rrrrgh... And it's also unnerving, especially when they come close. Someone managed to tio 4 of the 6 spot on. Scary... I think I made it too obvious, and that's not good.

So please don't ask me who they are. If you think you know who it is, don't ask me. If you think it's you, you're welcome to feel honoured, but don't ask me all the same. If you think up funny stuff then I can't help it, but I don't wanna be the cause of any nasty rumours. The bachelorettes aren't meant to be revealed. Not all of them are entirely real. And not all of them are exactly bachelorettes. The term "bachelorettes" was in a figurative sense; it's all part of the reality dating show analogy.

So I shan't be saying anything more about the bachelorettes, lest I crack under the pressure you people are giving me and reveal that Bachelorette 2 is in fact....

Wow... I nearly let it slip there!

Reality Dating Show

Alright, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to today's Reality Dating Show (for lack of a better name). Our lucky bachelor today is Russell! Russell, how're you feeling?

"Er, fine I guess..."

Splendid! Then we shan't waste anymore time. Let's start the show.

Bachelorette 1: You've known her for a few years. She's very pretty, and such is the opinion of practically every guy aroung you or her, younger or older. Every guy seems to have her attention except you. You've liked her ever since you really opened your eyes to your new surroundings and have spent the last few years thinking of her. But recently, things have gone stale, due to mistakes we percieve to be on your part (*crowd boos*) Now you hardly ever talk to her, and when you do see her, greetings are brief and awkward. And you STILL think she's hot.

Bachelorette 2: You've known her for waay longer than bachelorette 1. During your insipid, quiet days, she was the one who had most impact on your life. During those times, you two remained good friends, inseperable, but a divide pushed you two further apart. When you knew you would be seeing her for the last time, you gave her the dumbest, most awkward goodbye ever (*crowd boos again*) Well let's face it, you suck at girls, eh? Anyway, you've lived with regret over this goodbye ever since, until years later you happen to meet her on the streets again and you discover she remembers you completely! And you discover another thing: she's taken (*crowd awwwwws*) Well that sucks don't it?

Bachelorette 3: You've known her for shorter than one, but you probably knew her enough. When you faced problems with one, she was the one you talked to, hoping to get insider info on a girl's mind. You two grew close, up to the point that one realised something. Little did you expect that you would actually grow to like her. She's had her heart broken by a few boys, but you're almost afraid to talk to her about it. A divide came in between you two and you didn't seem so close anymore. When you finally realised what you had to do, that you really liked her, it wa too late, and she was leaving the country. When the goodbye came, you were lost for words, and all you could manage to do was give her a hug. Now you rarely hear from her, and you have no idea what she's doing, how she is, or if she ever thinks about you.

Bachelorette 4: You haven't known her for that long, but the thing that struck you about her was her maturity, or lax of such at the right times. You got to know her through a core group of friends you are part of. All of you are close as though you're known each other for years. She's pretty, prettier than she would admit, or realise. And the deal? You don't know her that well, as for most of her friends. She's older, and you don't know how she would take to a relationship, or how YOU would. Also, a relationship might create weird feelings amongst the group, and that's what you're scared of.

Bachelorette 5: She's from the same group of friends as four. The thing that strikes you about her is that she's witty and has a smart sense of humour, and a sort of upper class flair about her manner of speaking. You're afraid mainly for the same reasons as four, except for the older bit, and you know her even less well. Also, you're afraid that you may not be that compatible, as she's defenitely more innocent than you (*crowd ooooohhhs*)

Bachelorette 6: You've known her least well amongst the bachelorettes here, but the feeling is somewhat intangible. You like her, but you're not always sure why. It's a bit like one initially. She has a slightly rough, playful exterior, but has a girly side as well. Main probs is that you don't know her well, she may be atached and you're afraid of asking. Also you don't know what she thinks of you, and she sometimes flirts a lot, especially with someone else you know. Another concern is that you're afraid it's an infatuation, and what you feel about her isn't substantial, but sometimes you know it is.

Sooooo.... (*drumroll*) Russell! Who will you pick?

"Errrrrr...... well I..... I.... I dunno......"

-----

Wow... I hope I didn't make that too obvious, or "Russell, you're in trouble"
