ZHAO AH!!!

Well my gear is packed... email cleared... games sianed out. Except for NFS: Most Wanted, which I bought today (Black Edition) over Path of Neo. Need to play until sian later, or else I'll be thinking about it the whole trip.

What trip? I'm running away from home. Can't stand it here anymore.

No lah. ODAC is going to Taman Negara (somewhere in M'sia) and we leave tomorrow, or technically later. Saturday lah. Quite late, actually. Have to be in school only at 1800. All the more time to play MW.

Why do I get the feeling that I forgot about something?

Ah well. I'll know when I get there. Hope everything goes smoothly.

Be back on Wednesday.

See you guys!

Pwnage quotes 4

Lol was surfing through the Gamespot site and I chanced on this snippet of Ali G doing an interview with Kobe Bryant. I'll just let you all read it.

---

Ali: Check it, Westside *does the Westside sign... the one where you make a W with your pinky and index and ring fingers* This be Ali G representin with my man, Kobe Bryant.
Kobe: Yo.
Ali: R'spect. How many springs does an official ball have in it?
Kobe: How many springs? It doesn't have any springs in it.
Ali: Why does it bounce, then?
Kobe: It's air. There's air in the ball.
Ali: Well, there's air in this room. How come this room ain't bouncing?
Kobe: .... -_-"

What to choose....

WARNING: Really geeky dialogue about video games ahead. View at your own discretion.

---

I'm kinda bored right now, and I'm still faced with a dilemma of what game to buy next on my limited budget, since my parents probably won't give me money. So I figured I'd do a bit of brainstorming and elimination to help me narrow down my choices.

Okie here's the list of recent games that, IMHO, deserve at least a look-see:

Age Of Empires III
Quake 4
Matrix: Path of Neo
Need For Speed: Most Wanted
X3
Tom-Yum-Goong
The Sims: Holiday Edition
Starship Troopers
SWAT 4
Serious Sam II
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Lord Of The Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II
Neverwinter Nights II
Burnout: Revenge
Civilisation IV
Star Wars: Empire at War
F.E.A.R
Battlefield II

If I shortlist it to the few I really want, it would be:
AOE 3
NFS:MW
Path of Neo
SWAT
Battlefront II
LOTR
Empire at War
F.E.A.R

Well I'm a first-person shooter and real-time strategy kind of guy, not to mention a big Star Wars, Matrix and LOTR buff, so yeah.

Okie... AOE 3 I can probably borrow from Alex. Most Wanted is definitely for me, cuz it mixes Underground 2 with Hot Pursuit 2. I just love the NFS series.

Path of Neo... well when I first heard of the game a few weeks back, I was really, really hyped, especially since Enter the Matrix was only kind of sub par. Now after seeing promo footage, the graphics look slightly choppy and gameplay is a lot like ETM. ETM was fun, but some bits were a bit boring and repitive. And another preview stage I saw looked like a cheesy mix of Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur and maybe Star Ocean. All nice games, but I don't entirely appreciate rip-offs. So this game ranks lower for me, but I'll still consider it.

Battlefront II looks good. Not much of a game story, but a real good shooter to rival Republic Commando. Empire at War, as an RTS game, looks more promising than Galactic Battlegrounds. I still remember that game with its embarrassing graphics where your anti-aircraft missiles look like firecrackers and older games like Warcraft III far outstrip it. Sadly, it hasn't been released here yet. Not to my knowledge, anyway.

Don't think LOTR is out here yet. Haven't seen it around. But I'm definitely gonna get that one. SWAT is something I've been eyeing for a while now, but still in a fix of whether I should get it. F.E.A.R looks really good too, but I haven't seen that one around either. My savings only allow for maybe one game, so I think I may go with NFS for now.

Whatever the case be, there's one game I'm definitely gonna get when it comes out early next year: The Godfather. Woot! Saw promo footage and gameplay. It's stunningly lifelike and realistic. Only hope they release it early, or it may interfere with A Level work.

Indoor Activities Club my foot

Shit it's happening again. I'm starting to forget everything that I did before I blog it. Nvm I shall chiong everything right now.

Friday: Met my mum at her workplace at Millenia Walk. That's damn far from here. Bought new shoes! My old ones were giving way. Later tried Carl's Jr. for the first time for dinner. I bought a slightly larger burger, and when I saw it, I didn't think I could finish it. The thing was so humongous you could get lockjaw trying to take a proper bite out of it. But I suppose somepne with a big mouth like Jamie could manage.

Saturday: Really really felt like sleeping in, but had to wake up early (like 8 or 9... so maybe it's not that early, but it's earlier than I would usually prefer) Went down to Bedok Reservoir with a few ODAC people: Alex, Zhi Hui, Kenneth, Ming Song, Zhe Wei and Veron. For kayaking! Lol it was damn fun. Everybody got a chance to capsize, some because of others. Actually, only Zhe Wei did not capsize, cuz he was riding a sit-on-top kayak. That type of beginner kayak, die also cannot capsize. Really fun, except that we spent more time playing than kayaking. Rrrgh can't wait for my one star, so I can take my two star, so I can use spray skirt. Wheee!!

After kayaking, went with Alex, ZH and Veron to Beach Road to buy supplies for the Taman Negara trip. Apparently Alex said he say Cindy, Shirnnie and Gui Rong there buying stuff too. After that, we went to Mustafa to dee siao Ming Song while he was on the job there, selling Pentax cameras. Alex was purposely barraging him with questions like "What are megapixels?" and "What's the difference between this camera and that?" up to the point that Song got fed up and said "I dun wanna tell you." Then his supervisor stared at the group of us and him before he realised that we were his friends. Lol lucky he realised.

Sunday: After 0930 mass, Teens Connect had its first meeting in a while, and still not everyone was there. Have a lot of activities to prepare for, not to mention restructuring and reassessment. Rrrgh Holy Family is having some night cycling thingy on Friday, but I forsee I'll be busy packing then. Can't afford to stone on Saturday.

Monday: ODAC had training at MOE Dairy Farm Road... place. High elements and all. Quite fun, except that it was raining, so everything was slippery. Damn harnesses and helmets smelt funky. After that, we went to S11 food court to eat, and later was supposed to meet the gang for balding at East Coast, but I had too many errands to run. Had to go to Changi to meet Gaps to get my $100 back (he still insists that he returned my book, but it's still overdue). Then went to Kembangan to meet Kuang Yi to get my ODAC and Fac B Tshirts back (which he was holding on to since LTC) Then went to Tampines Lib to return the cycling books I borrowed. Got back at 6 plus, so no point taking another half an hour to travel to ECP. Can't go on bike, cuz I have to send it for servicing soon.

Tuesday: ODAC hike at Bukit Timah. Mr Noordin a bit on today, and he kept doing annoying stuff like calling us IDAC (Indoor Adventure Club). he keeps asking us if we were tired, but he tired out faster than us. Trek was a bit boring, nothing too big. After the trek, nobody felt like doing anything like going out or anything, just going home.

It's so boring here. I want a new game, but I may not have enough money, or I may not be able to choose. I don't wanna ask for cash from my parents, cuz it's not nice. Haiz.

*drools*

Age Of Empires III
Quake 4
Matrix: Path of Neo
Need For Speed: Most Wanted
X3
Tom-Yum-Goong
The Sims: Holiday Edition
Starship Troopers
SWAT 4
Serious Sam II
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
...and soon Lord Of The Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II
and Neverwinter Nights II

OMG suddenly there's so many nice games out there. What to buy? And if I buy anyone, will they take too much of my attention away from FT?

Well, as the X3 reviews adequately put it: "Say goodbye to your social life and/or sleep."

Nicknames have meanings

We don't usually give nicknames for no rhyme of reason. They really have meanings, some of which only make themselves truly apparent after a while.

Hong Kuang's nickname amongst the S15 guys is Dayang. We call him that because he can impersonate Dayang (Pierre Png's character on Tong Xing Yuan) very well. The first time he did it we laughed until peng. But during chalet I also realised (and remembered) that the name has a deeper affinity with him cuz he's quite sensitive to taste and can actually cook (at least better than the rest of us). I still remember his mozarella fried rice at Regina's birthday party last year. So nice! Lol! And he sometimes grumbles about how his maids' cooking a bit not there yet. He's like our Gongfu Chef! (Forgot the chinese name for that show... the Chew Chor Meng that one... wads the name ah?)

Gabriel Yip also has a nickname that comes from Tong Xing Yuan: Dadi. We call him that cuz of his hairstyle, not necessarily cuz he rubs his tits every morning. Although he was walking around bare bodied in the chalet. Kah Chou has graduated from the Sueh Kia nickname and is now Scheming Babi, cuz of his favourite line "Wah scheming sia!" Now he openly embraces his nick, and during chalet he showed us how scheming he really is (although I forgot how). We called him Sueh Kia last time cuz he broke his foot during the netball tourney. Or I think it was more like we called him Sueh Kia, and then a day or two later, he really sueh kia broke his foot. Be careful of the nicks you give people!

Yongquan will always be Ah Boy. I think that's a nick that stuck to him since before JC. Now I subconciously call him Ah Boy, up to the point that when I called his house and his mom picked up, I said "Er qing wen Ah Boy... er Yongquan zhai mah?" Pengz.

I think 05S15 is the only group of people I know who are so extensicely nicknamed. But not all the girls have nicks. Nevermind... next year, we'll think of something.

Memory like a leaky cauldron

I'm a bit tired now but I'll force myself to blog, lest I forget everything.

05S15 chalet was gooood! Lol... First day checkin and then barbecue, where the whole class (except Seok Teng) was there, plus Leow, the Wongs and Cerine. After that went blading about the place. Haven't touched blades for a long time. Still can make it lah, but can't do T brake. Yet.

Second day was a little more sian. Takfik and I left hanging around in the chalet like 2 gay idiots, while the others ran dunno where.

AAARGH!! I can't remember everything! A lot was going on, like Dadi getting drunk on the Martell that Cute Boy brought over, and a few of us wereplaying drinking games. I don't get the point of our punishment! In normal drinking games, when you lose, you have to take a shot, and if you take in too much you get piss drunk. Well in our game the Martell was so diluted in Coke (-A Cola, thank you) that it was impossible to get drunk. Even if I won and you asked me to drink, I would also drink. It's too weak! Dadi was drinking pure, along with Ali and Meng Nan, but only Dadi got high enough (on a scale of 1 to 5 I rate him 3.5) to warrant a hangover the next day.

Shit I can't remember everything. Well I'm not gonna forget in a hurry anyway. Hope next year's is even better.

*sigh*

Forgot to blog about Sunday. Lol

Didn't do much lah. Went church, and then lunch with Cheryl and Edwin (who for once showed up for mass). Was reading Cheryl's A Level Physics notes. I'm gonna die man.

Evening went cycling with Alex, Kit and Wei Kheam to Lau Par Sat for dinner, and then Geylang again for tau huay. Alex dee siao us like Meng Nan, took us through the "scenic" route, giving us tour like some guide. Then went Bedok jetty, and home.

Yesterday nth much, except for the fact that I forgot to go to school for the Taman Negara briefing.

Now I've got a precious few minutes before I leave for parkway to buy last minute stuff, and then to Costa Sands East Coast chalets for 05S15 chalet. Won't be back till Thursday. Somehow I'm not thrilled. Dunno lah... I just feel so sian these few days, like I don't feel like doing anything. Anything.

Well we'll see how things turn out. See you.

Random Thoughts 3

I feel bored, so I'll think of something substantial to blog about, instead of just listing out what I've been doing everyday.

I think I should learn to trust my instincts I was taking out the rubbish the other day when I suddenly felt that I should stop to check the plastic bags I had with me. Sure enough, one of them was a bag full of Kim's lollipops. Lucky that I didn't throw that one out, or she'll scream. Then again, sometimes I second guess myself, so it's confusing.

Was watching the first episode of TabTV about China Study Mamas. I think that it's dumb that they aren't allowed to work for the first year. This way they can only support themselves by resorting to vice. I know the government probably has its reasons for this one year rule. Probably because we want to keep jobs for our citizens and so that the job market won't be saturated with foreigners. Then shouldn't the government at least do something about it?

Okie, for maids, the potential problem was that after maids earn their money here, they mail all of it back to their homes and don't spend it here where they can contribute to the economy. This results in the country losing finances to other countries. Forgot the technical term for this. They curbed this (I assume) by setting up maid employment agencies, so that the government can issue licenses for servicemaids and collect some revenue from it to make up for all the funds going overseas. Now, couldn't they do something similar for study mamas?

Eh... why didn't I think of something like this for PW? AARGH!! I'm starting to realise that you tend to think of better topics for PW when you're not under the pressure of a deadline. Don't talk to me about how deadlines are part and parcel of working life. Deadlines to complete projects are normal, but never in your life will your boss call you into his office and say something like "Okie I want you to think of something to do for the company that will benefit us. You have two days." No clear objective or goal, just asking you to do something for the hell of it. That's just plain dumb, but then again, that's what PW wanted us to do. You see the stupidity of it all?

Read somewhere in the papers about how 4 local soccer players are being charged with statutory rape. They met this girl at a street soccer court and she was flirting with them. She said she was 17, so they all happy happy went to a toilet and one by one had their fun. Then it turns out she was 12 or something like that, and the guys were charged. There was this other article about how this underaged girl was selling herself online as an 18 year old to earn money. Then after she did her thing, she would report her "clients" for statutory rape. Now that's just plain unfair. Here we are, innocent guys looking for a one night stand, and you come along and play this kind of dirty trick on us. So word of advice: If you ever pick up a girl from anywhere, check for ID.

And about the soccer players, I think they're getting a lighter sentence because it was argued that they contributed to the local soccer scene. If that's the case, then any person of somewhat importance can get away with almost anything. That's nonsense. If the PM was caught for embezzlement, would you let him off? So why should these relative nobodies be given preferential treatment?

I'd bet if you ask anyone if they listen to songs that aren't in English, you'd probably get people telling you they listen to Chinese songs, or Japanese, or occasionally Indonesian, or basically any language indigenous to Asia. Occasionally, rare occurrences happen, like "Dragostea Din Tei", which was made famous here because of Chicken Little and not Gary Brolsma (the guy that did the Numa Numa Dance) or even the original singers O-Zone for the matter. That being said, I'm one of the rare few people I know that listens to songs in German. Then again, the German songs I listen to are by Rammstein and Turmion Katilot (at least I think it's German). All those industrial bands, so the usual crowd I hang with wouldn't listen to them, or know abot them, or know what industrial music is in the first place.

My brain is in holiday mood, and I don't want to upset it too much. That being said, I've had enough for now.

*phew*

Ah die! One week's worth of entries to go....

Saturday: Alex's and Roy's birthdays. The three of us have our birthdays within 2 days of each other (plus I share birthdays with Wendi and Caroline... weird...) so the S15 guys were planning a combined bash during the chalet. Luckily for us, they couldn't get chalets on that day, so yeah.
Most of the S15 guys, that is to say me, Alex, Roy, Hubert, Ah Boy, Hong Boon, Ali and Eugene (God I hope I didn't forget anyone) went out for dinner at Marina South. Dunno what the place is called, but it's that big big steamboat barbecue place. It was... okie lah... Prolly cuz I dunno better, or can't remember. Prefer Seoul Garden, but Seoul is so damn expensive. Marina South
is only $12. $12!!!

After that we were at a loss of what to do. Went arcade for a while (Daytona in full manual... been wanting to try it ever since Initial D) and then I think it was Meng Nan's suggestion, but the point is we all went to Geylang.

Geylang?! During "happy hours"?!

Well he said Geylang has a shop that sells nice tau huay, so I said okie. Just didn't know that he would purposely take us one big round to see "mei nu". "Braodening your horizons" Alex calls it. I personally felt that the weather was a bit too humid to be broadening anything. Finally got to the shop. Not bad. After that I think they had their fun, so went home.

Sunday: After church, went off to play pool with the usual gang, except for Cheryl. She's busy mugging for her A Levels somewhere. So Edwin, Mel, Sujata, Yvonne, Ignatius, Ben Quan and I were there. Don't get to talk to Ben much. Hardly know him, even though he's part of Teens Connect exco. Come to think of it, I don't think of anyone as exco members or using any form of heirachy (but we do sometimes call David and cheryl our "parents" jokingly). To me, we're just friends. Hehe. Got to play a round with Ben, and he's quite good, along with Desmond and Edwin.

Monday: OP dry run, the last one. I think after that we (the class guys) went to watch Tom-Yum-Goong. Cute Boy actually believed Ah Boy for a bit when he told him the movie was about a tom yum eating contest. Really cool movie! Go see it if you haven't already. Not much of a storyline, but who cares?! The action more than makes up for it.

Tuesday: Final OP. Not bad, although the Q & A nearly killed me. Can't remember what I did after that. Was it Escape? Yeah it was. Me and Kim went to meet our cousins Janell, Deidrea, Daryl and Charles at Escape, only to find that it was closed for the weekday. Pengz! So we went bowling. For someone that hasn't played for ages, I think I've gotten my technique down okie. Then went to watch a movie, Sky High. All the other shows were NC 16, or uninteresting to them (like Flightplan, but I kinda liked it). Okie movie... more for kids, though. A bit cheesy sometimes.

Shit can't remember what I was doing for Wednesday and Thursday...

Oh yah Thursday was ODAC meeting. Briefing about the Taman Negara trip and then abseiling (yes, Jamie, not abSELLing) although, like every ODAC thing, we never have enogh time left. So a few of us (yours truly included) didn't get to go.

Friday was the most flustering day of my life. Final submission of GPF by 9, and Eugene called me and woke me up at 0930. My God I never knew I could panic like that. jumped straight into my uniform and off I went. Didn't bathe, didn't gel, didn't shave, didn't even put on my socks or tuck in my shirt. Of course I brushed my teeth, that I can't live without. I & R had to be handed in, and so were the meeting forms which I had was supposed to do, which weren't complete. Immediately went to the library to do complete the meeting forms, when Eng Yong tells me they were not needed, and to just bring my I & R. Handed everything in, after distressing how much time I took last night to do the bit of the meeting forms that were done, which caused me to oversleep. I dunno how, but Ah Boy took my hpone as a joke, but I thought I had lost it, so I ran to the classrooms and the library to look for it. Then when he told me he had my phone, I swore so loudly, I think both the B and E blocks (and its teachers) could hear me. Actually it would be more correct for me to say I shouted. Yeah.

Cooled down, the went with the guys to T Mart. Finally PW is over! I can't funny express how pissed I am about the whole thing, from the intro lecture about PW to now. Full of shit.
After that, went cycling with Alex to Katong, specifically BBQ Wholesale to order suff for the chalet next week. I love BBQ Wholesale. You can order just about everything from there and they deliver. Of course you have to know what to order and what is cheaper if you buy it outside. After that, we went to the Cannondale shop nearby. MY GOD. The kind of bikes you find there.... high liaoz. The price? Even higher. Later went to Mac to chill and talk cock. He was going for soccer with the ussal gang, but I had to be home for dinner.

Saturday: Went for golf in the morning. haven't played in a LONGO time. Need to buck up.

Was talking to Jas just now and she asked me for any old photos I had of our old neighbourhood (she was my neighbour back in pri school). So I decided to go digging for old photos. I swear the memories that came popping up, not just of Moon Crescent, but other things like NDP, Aerospace, SYSF, Fiona's wedding, and the countless Christmases and birthdays.... *sigh*

Wah all this typing is making me feel thirsty. Later.

Mangen barbecue

Another delay, another long entry. Oh well....

What do you do when two groups of friends call you out at the same time? Frankly, I've been in this situation a couple of times, and I still don't have a concrete solution, cuz I never feel good about pangsehing someone. So the mangen (Karthik's nickname for Chinese people) gang were throwing a birthday barbecue for Alex and me, and the Indian Brothers were going to Bedok Simpang for prata at the same time. What to do? In the end I decided to go for the barby. I felt I owed it to KX to show up, seeing how much effort he put in.

Turned up at pit 38 at 7ish with drinks from Sheng Siong (is that how u spell it?) Was kinda surprised at how many people turned up, and from different groups of friends, too. 05S15 (Ah Boy, Meng Nan, Dadi, Pui Kia and Dayang), ODAC (Veron, Mingsong and Chin Chow), 4E (AXN IMH and TC, Adeline, Paul, Ah Bush, Shaun, Dennis, Alton, Joseph Choo, Cai Tao) Sorry if I forgot anyone... there were just too many people. Really had loads of fun ther, except for the fact that the guys tried to gang rape me. Alex got chased down and had to run for it like 7 times, but for me they wrestled me down once and I just shouted "EH FUCK YOU!!!" and they stopped. Lol

It was a bit weird having different groups of people, cuz they don't all mix into one group. The class guys stuck to themselves at the barbecue pit, while the 4E people were in another group (eating the food as soon as it was ready, much to Ah Boy's annoyance) and the ODAC people were at another side playing Dai Dee and Heart Attack (Chin Chow was so on for Bridge, but I don't think we were) So I had to keep group-hopping just to get a chance to chat with everyone. What was even weirder was how when you go to one group, they start talking about people they don't know from another group ("Eh that tall girl, the one in the black shirt... what's her name ah?") But an even funnier incident was when Gaps (finally) showed up and was looking around.

G: *looks at ODAC crowd* Eh that girl not bad eh?
R: I suppose so... wait who you talking about? Veron ah?
G: I dunno her name lah.
R: Oh yah... the one in the purple (!) t shirt, right?
G: Yah... eh no no. The one in the black top.
R: *incredulous look* ...that's Jamie.
G: ... oh.... *shudders*

Ahaha.... But there was some mingling about, like Nick was talking to Dadi, And when Ah Boy conspired with everyone else to throw Joe into the sea. That guy is jinxed; it happens to him in almost every barbecue he goes to. Where Alex or KX are present.

So all in all, great party. And I got presents! Paul got me a book calles "Star Warped" - a p[arody of the entire saga. Very fitting :P And the ODAC guys got me something, too. Both Alex and I remembered the things we got Mingsong for his birthday (electric toothbrush, screwdriver set, piggy bank... we meant it to be a practical joke) we weren't expecting much here. And indeed. They gave me a 12" COCK!... waste bin. I love their sense of humour! And they got Alex a stuffed monkey head with a banana in its mouth... that you can move in and out! I swear the things you find at Mini Toons nowadays.... The best present I got was the company of brothers (that try to push me down onto the sand)

So yeah thank you all lotz! And extra thanks to KX (and I think CT) for organizing everything, and Alex, for no rhyme of reason.

Ah I think I'll blog about the rest later....

17? Who?!

Happy birthday to meeeeeeeeee! Lolz lame....

I was wondering if I would forget it, after all the PW work I'm piled in, but I still have people reminding me. Hehe....

Monday was AO Chinese for everybody, but not for me :P cuz I take CL B, so my final exam is with all the other A Level papers. After everyone finished their papers, met HK, Paul and later Wesley to go "office", T Mart branch. Okie FYI "office" is our in-joke name for playing FT, or any other com game, but it's usually FT. Never been to the T Mart LAN shop before, but I heard Ignatius talk about it, so decided to give it a try. After all, it's only 5 minutes from school.

When we stepped in, we noticed 2 things. One was that they used custom coms, which was good. Another thing was that there was no air-con, to which Paul said, "This is GOOD! For once I can play properly and not freeze my ass off!" He was being serious, and apparently, he was right. Surprisingly, it wasn't stuffy, and it was better than shivering at the Kembangan branch, which I feel is still a good LAN shop nonetheless.

Went to BNet to play with Lao Da (Ellery). The sad thing was I didn't stand a chance against any of them (except maybe against Wesley, but he left before I could 1v1 with him). So LD, HK, Paul and I were playing AT with other people online. One time we decided on a coordinated attack. All of us used Undead, and we concentrated on different units (I was massing abominations), but all of us rushed heroes so we could all coil nova impale the enemy heroes or do coordinated nukes. OMG it was the cheapest matchup I had ever seen. Haha! The enemy didn't stand a chance!

Got home at 7 plus, and then realised that I was supposed to be at church for All Saints' Day. Shit.

On Tuesday , went out with Kit in the morning. He bought a new bike, a Klein Attitude V. Rather simple-looking relative to its price, which was considerable. Went bike-shop-hopping for a while. Went to Trek3 in Katong, or at least I think that was what the shop was called. Aiyah it's the one that Randall Tan runs. Lol never knew he ran a bike shop. Bought Nike fingerless gloves there. In YELLOW to match my bike, and soon Ah Boy's jersey. I live my gloves! :P

Later at night, went cycling again! Went to Kit's house to chill and talk and watch him play Fable and wait for Alex to come. There was when I got a call from Kee Siang:

KS: Hello Russell?
R: Yeah?
KS: Hey Kee Siang here. Are you coming?
R: Coming? For?
KS: The chalet! You coming?
R: Oh... you didn't tell me when it was.
KS: I thought I did?
R: No I didn't get anything from you.
KS: Oh I must've forgotten.
R: Nvm... so when is it?
KS: Er... now.

PENGZ! Well it turns out that the chalet was Tuesday & Wednesday (checkout on Thursday). So I told him I would go the next day. Alex came, and then we cycled to Lau Par Sat... for dessert. Call us crazy, but that's how we are. Wanted to have babat, but was feeling quite full. Next time lah. Cycled around CBD after that, as in along the sidewalks and all, to places like SGX and all. We even cycled through Suntec City and Esplanade carparks, and through the Esplanade to the MRT. It was funny, cuz we were cycling around a place that had a "No Skateboarding" sign in it. Theoretically, we weren't breaking any rulkes, but I suppose they didn't bother with a "No Cycling" sign cuz they didn't think anyone was crazy enough to do so.

It was fun, that night. That is, until I got a flat on the way home on ECP that night. Haiz.... where do you find a bike repair shop at 1 in the morning? Had to cycle to Kit's house with the flat to fix it. I need to get myself a puncture repair kit.

Cycling with a flat more or less threw out my back, so for the whole of Wednesday, I had a backache. Went to Costa Sands chalet at about 7. It was just us 4.5 Indians (Dhana, Karthik, Inderpal, Dinesh and me) and 4.5 Chinese guys (Kee Siang, Kai Boon, Wei Chong, Wei Luo and me) all the way. Apparently, KX and Cai Tao were there the other day, but weren't coming that day. We spent our time playing XBox (CS chalets have their own XBoxes in their rooms! COOL!) NFS Underground and Dhana's Marvel game called Rise Of The Imperfects. Haha, like Dhana says, Elektra's the weakest bitch in the game :P

Throuout the whole time we were cracking inside jokes. I'll gather them and out them in a Pwnage Quotes entry soon. Other than playing XBox, Din also brought Travel Monopoly, which looked older than he was. Dhana and Karthik play Monopoly like Survivor, cutting deals and making alliances all over the place. We couldn't barbecue until late cuz of the rain, but it was nice. Too much crabsticks, though. Later, a few of us went to Cheers.... to buy "drinks" hwen none of us were old enough, but look it. Wahahaa.... KS's Long Island Tea was nasty. Bleargh. Haha loads of drink, but no drunks, just us mamakelengs and mangens chilling out and having fun. But the most sadcase thing was that none of us had bottle openers, so Wei Luo had to use his key. Good man. :P

So we played Monopoly and XBox until 3.30, and then we went to watch Man U vs. Lille. Din was pro Lille cuz he roots for the underdog. Lol. Lille won 1-0. Waste of time. Man U played like crap, and that goal was a little disgraceful. But with the company of good friends, it was still fun. After that we were slacking for a bit before we decided to go swimming. Actually Dhana decided to go swimming, and I thought it was freezing out, but I decided to go anyway, but all the pools were closed! Wheee... went back to the chalet to wait it out, but then we all slept till checkout time. This chalet was slightly better than the previous one this year.

Now I've got some sort of flu again. Later is PW and tonight, the mangen gang has a barbecue for the birthday boys (me and Alex). So fun! But that meant I couldn't go to Bedok Simpang with Dhana and gang... haiz.... Nvm I guess.... hope we get to go out again.

Rrrgh... can't move. Don't think I can go for PW. This is the worst time to get such a flu. Hope I'm better tml.
