Nicknames have meanings

We don't usually give nicknames for no rhyme of reason. They really have meanings, some of which only make themselves truly apparent after a while.

Hong Kuang's nickname amongst the S15 guys is Dayang. We call him that because he can impersonate Dayang (Pierre Png's character on Tong Xing Yuan) very well. The first time he did it we laughed until peng. But during chalet I also realised (and remembered) that the name has a deeper affinity with him cuz he's quite sensitive to taste and can actually cook (at least better than the rest of us). I still remember his mozarella fried rice at Regina's birthday party last year. So nice! Lol! And he sometimes grumbles about how his maids' cooking a bit not there yet. He's like our Gongfu Chef! (Forgot the chinese name for that show... the Chew Chor Meng that one... wads the name ah?)

Gabriel Yip also has a nickname that comes from Tong Xing Yuan: Dadi. We call him that cuz of his hairstyle, not necessarily cuz he rubs his tits every morning. Although he was walking around bare bodied in the chalet. Kah Chou has graduated from the Sueh Kia nickname and is now Scheming Babi, cuz of his favourite line "Wah scheming sia!" Now he openly embraces his nick, and during chalet he showed us how scheming he really is (although I forgot how). We called him Sueh Kia last time cuz he broke his foot during the netball tourney. Or I think it was more like we called him Sueh Kia, and then a day or two later, he really sueh kia broke his foot. Be careful of the nicks you give people!

Yongquan will always be Ah Boy. I think that's a nick that stuck to him since before JC. Now I subconciously call him Ah Boy, up to the point that when I called his house and his mom picked up, I said "Er qing wen Ah Boy... er Yongquan zhai mah?" Pengz.

I think 05S15 is the only group of people I know who are so extensicely nicknamed. But not all the girls have nicks. Nevermind... next year, we'll think of something.
